Job description:

Kwik Kar on University has an immediate opening for an experienced assistant manager. Must have a TX state inspector license. Prior lube shop experience is mandatory. Role as the de facto service advisor for the shop.

Job responsibilities include the following:

Opening and closing store

Estimating and quoting mechanical services

Inspecting belts, hoses, and wiper blades

Inspecting fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmission

Checking air pressure of tires

Tire Rotations

Performing multi-point inspection

Performing state inspections

Operating and driving vehicles including those with manual transmissions

Prepare detailed estimates using estimating software, including auto estimating and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools

Explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines clearly to customers, ensuring transparency and trust

Upsell services such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, A/C services, and other automotive repairs

Must be capable of operating in the following capacities:
