We are seeking a driven, client-centered Associate Attorney with 2 to 3 years of litigation experience to join our team in South Florida. Experience in family law is preferred, but candidates with a strong civil litigation background will be seriously considered. This is an in-office position based in South Florida. This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you absolutely must be able to work in the office. Initial employment compensation will be based on your experience, with opportunities for increases after that. Responsibilities: What You Will Do • Serve as the principal point of contact between the firm and its clients, building relationships grounded in trust and communication. • Meet with clients to understand their goals and develop a case strategy aligned with those objectives. • Keep clients consistently informed on the progress of their matters. • Drive cases to key milestones and resolution through strategic planning and diligent execution. • Appear on behalf of clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. • Review, approve, and file court documents under your signature. • Mentor and support other team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing firm culture. Qualifications: What We Are Looking For • 2 to 3 years of litigation experience (family law preferred; civil litigation considered). • Active Florida Bar license in good standing. • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. • Strong analytical and legal research skills, including Westlaw proficiency. • Confidence in the courtroom, in client meetings, and on the phone. • Genuine empathy for clients navigating difficult personal circumstances. • Consistent professionalism regardless of the day, time, or complexity of the situation. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software. • Self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership of work with minimal supervision.
