Position Title: Experienced CPA / Reviewer CPA
Company: League Business Services (LBS)
Location: Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time | On-Site
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 annually

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CPA to join our tax team as a Tax Reviewer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in tax return review, a focus on compliance, and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role provides an opportunity to lead tax review efforts, mentor junior staff, and contribute directly to strategic client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review federal and state tax returns, including individual (1040), corporate (C-Corp, S-Corp), partnership (LLC, K-1), international filings (8898), and 1031 exchanges.
• Provide strategic recommendations to clients on tax planning and liability minimization.
• Handle hands-on preparation during peak tax periods.
• Ensure compliance with current tax laws and filing requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, providing ongoing technical training and feedback.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and firm standards.

Required Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of tax review and preparation experience.
• Active CPA license (or Enrolled Agent with significant review experience).
• Strong technical background in reviewing complex tax returns.
• Proficiency with Lacerte , ProConnect , QuickBooks , and Microsoft 365
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international tax filings (e.g., 8898) and real estate transactions (e.g., 1031 exchanges).
• Background in public accounting or financial services.
