Experienced Caregiver CNA HHA Home Care
Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring experienced caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide reliable one on one care for seniors and adults in their homes.
This is a W2 employee position. It is not a 1099 contractor role or registry position.
This posting is for caregivers who already have paid caregiving experience and understand the responsibility that comes with working in a client home. Our clients depend on consistent attendance, clear communication, and professional care.
Assisting Hands is a local, family owned home care agency operated by a husband and wife team. We are looking for caregivers who know how to follow a care plan, communicate concerns, and provide dependable support without needing constant supervision.
Pay is typically $16 to $18 dollars per hour for most cases. Higher rates may be available for select assignments based on client needs, schedule, location, and case complexity.
What we are looking for We are looking for caregivers who are dependable, calm, and professional. A strong fit for this role is someone who:
Has caregiving experience with seniors or adults who need personal care assistance
Takes scheduled shifts seriously
Communicates clearly with the office
Treats clients and families with respect
Can work independently in a client home
Is comfortable with personal care, companionship, and daily living support
Understands that reliability matters in home care
This is home care, so the work takes place in client homes rather than one fixed facility. We work to match caregivers with cases based on availability, skills, client needs, and reasonable travel distance.
What you will do You will help clients remain safe, clean, comfortable, and supported at home. Common responsibilities include:
Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Helping with transfers and mobility
Preparing meals
Completing light housekeeping related to the client
Providing companionship and conversation
Giving medication reminders
Helping with errands or appointments when included in the care plan
Reporting changes, concerns, or schedule issues to the office
Every client is different. Some clients need hands on personal care. Others need supervision, reminders, companionship, or help around the home. We do our best to place caregivers on cases that match their experience and comfort level.
