    Job Description:

    Manage the day-to-day operations of reconstruction projects. Perform hands-on carpentry work in framing, drywall, finish trim work, and more. Occasionally oversee the work of subcontractors. Deliver a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in performing reconstruction services.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform high-quality work in all job duties, including but not limited to: general carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, mud/tape/paint, flooring, limited demolition, structure board up and tarping

    Assist with scheduling of all subcontractors and material suppliers as needed

    Ensure all work performed complies with local codes and requirements of the scope of work

    Document all project activities through photographs, job notes, and communication with management

    Maintain quality standards throughout the work process

    Attend inspections with local jurisdiction, as needed

    Identify unexpected job issues outside of the contracted scope of work and communicate with management

    Coordinate and complete all work for the project as assigned by the Project Manager

    Maintain vehicles, tools, and facilities in clean and orderly manner

    Ensure stock replenishment or emergency services supplies and materials

    Perform rotational after-hours/weekend/holiday on-call duties for emergency services as required

    Qualifications:

    Superb customer service track record

    Effective written and oral communication

    Accurate mathematical skills

    3 years' experience in restoration and/or construction carpentry required

    High school diploma/GED

    Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

    Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat

    Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, lifting, bending, stooping, carrying up to 50 pounds alone or up to 100 pounds team lift

    Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights

    Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements

    This is a full-time hourly position. Normal schedule is 8.5-hour shifts Monday - Friday between 7:30 am - 4:15 pm. Due to the emergency response nature of the business, this position may frequently require evening work, rotational on-call requirements, weekend work, and long hours beyond the normal schedule. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
