Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This position involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Perform frame carpentry for residential and commercial projects, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
• Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, and moldings with precision.
• Execute remodeling tasks, including the renovation of existing structures to meet updated design requirements.
• Apply stucco, plaster, and drywall techniques for finishing surfaces.
• Conduct caulking to seal joints and openings for improved insulation and aesthetics.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure seamless integration of various systems within the construction process.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in frame carpentry techniques and fixture installation.
• Must be able to use a circular saw
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and execute plans effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with carpentry work.
