Cleaner / Janitorial Associate

Location: Brooklyn, NY

A childcare center in Brooklyn is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and can work independently.

Schedule

Monday – Friday

Work must be completed anytime between: 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Flexible hours within this timeframe.

Compensation

Flat Weekly Rate (Compensation to be discussed during the interview process.)

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize classrooms daily

Clean and disinfect children's tables and high-touch surfaces

Clean and sanitize all bathrooms

Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility

Sweep and mop stairways on all three floors

Empty trash and replace liners

Clean and maintain kitchenette areas

Restock paper products and cleaning supplies as needed

Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and ready for children and staff each morning

Follow all health and sanitation procedures

Requirements

Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Reliable and dependable attendance

Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Must be authorized to work in the United States
