    Responsibilities Evaluations & Roof Asset Management

    Perform site investigations, surveys, and assessments of non-residential roofs and related components.

    Create, support, and deliver suggestions for repair, replacement, and maintenance that fit the client's objectives and financial constraints.

    Design Services, Documents & Technical Specifications

    Develop detailed, customized plans and edit specifications for competitive bidding using our extensive library of specifications and details.

    Research and incorporate building codes and insurance requirements.

    Bid Administration Services

    Conduct pre-bid meetings to clarify project scope and requirements,

    Issue addenda and responses to contractor questions.

    Construction Administration Services

    Coordinate and oversee construction-phase project activities and contract requirements, including:

    Conduct pre-construction meetings.

    Review contractor material submittals, change order requests, and review pay applications.

    Perform interim, punch list and final inspections as needed or contracted.

    Oversee and ensure completion of project closeout documentation.

    Review inspection reports and photos to ensure project compliance, quality and accuracy. Distribute reports to project stakeholders as necessary.

    Assist with reinforcing expectations and training for Field Inspectors related to on-site project management and technical excellence.

    Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing schedules, resources, and priorities.

    Quality Assurance & Technical Excellence

    Provide peer quality control review of deliverables from internal and external project teams.

    Share your technical expertise with teammates who have less experience.

    Participate in refinement of standards, details, and processes to maintain quality standards.

    Client Relationships & Communication

    Act as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders.

    Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly.

    Qualifications Requirements

    Demonstrated ability to work independently from the field and/or home.

    Ability to pass government background checks for access to secure locations.

    Ability to pass random drug tests.

    Willing and able to travel via airplane or vehicle as needed (this is not a high travel position).

    Relevant experience managing roof construction projects, providing quality assurance, estimating roof repair and/or replacement costs, and creating scopes of work for roof replacement and/or repair projects.

    Able to apply technical skills and research to meet project demands and solve roof and roof related problems.

    Able to build and maintain positive relationships.

    Self-motivated and passionate about continuing to learn and grow personally, technically and within the industry.

    Proficient with use of Microsoft Word and mobile technology (iPad, smartphone, laptop). Willing to learn new skills.

    Able to read, interpret, and provide a high level of input into the production of construction drawings and technical specifications.

    Physical requirements include the ability to: (1) lift and carry at least 50 pounds, (2) access the client's roof through the use of ladders,stairs, and/or steps, (3) sit, stand, walk, and stoop for extended periods of time, and (4) crawl in and out of otherwise inaccessible locations on an occasional/as needed basis.

    Preferred

    IIBEC Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) credential – preference will be given to candidates who hold this credential.

    IIBEC Registered Roof Observer (RRO) credential – a common precursor to the RRC credential.

    Experience with developing new business and estimating and/or writing proposals for future opportunities.
