About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Excel Dental & Implant Center as an Experienced Dental Assistant! This non-training position offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care to our patients in San Antonio, TX and New Braunfels, TX..

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during surgical procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Remove and place All-on-X prosthetics

Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental materials according to infection control protocols.

Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation of procedures.

Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.

Monitor patient comfort and vital signs during procedures.

Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies.

Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and techniques to improve practice efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.

Current certification in CPR and basic life support.

Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.

Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor with patients.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Proficient in dental software and patient management systems.

Texas State Dental Assistant Registration (RDA) preferred.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
