Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant at City View Dental, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and supporting our patients throughout their dental procedures. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during dental procedures, including chairside assisting and instrument passing.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Perform various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• X-ray certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Bilingual preferably English-Spanish
