What You’ll Actually Do You’ll make court appearances, attend conferences, draft motions, and argue about property division and parenting schedules with grace. You’ll negotiate settlements and help people part ways with dignity. You’ll be Of Counsel, meaning you’re one of us, but also free. You’ll have a team. Support staff. Fellow lawyers. Actual systems. RequirementsActive New Jersey bar licenseMust reside in New Jersey8+ years practicing family law Responsibilities: • Lead client consultations with empathy and expertise, ensuring each individual feels heard and understood. • Develop strategic legal plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, focusing on achieving favorable outcomes. • Collaborate with our team of legal professionals to share insights and enhance collective knowledge. • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations with professionalism and confidence. • Stay updated on the latest family law regulations and trends to provide informed advice and solutions. • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents with precision and attention to detail. • Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the firm. Qualifications: • Active New Jersey bar license, ensuring you're ready to represent clients with authority and expertise. • Minimum of eight years practicing family law, demonstrating your deep understanding and experience in the field. • Proven track record of leading client consultations with empathy, making clients feel valued and understood. • Ability to develop strategic legal plans tailored to individual client needs, focusing on achieving favorable outcomes. • Experience in representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations with professionalism and confidence. • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with our team of legal professionals, sharing insights and enhancing collective knowledge. Compensation: $100 - $200 per hour
