Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Own a litigation docket (contested/uncontested divorce, custody/visitation, child support, legitimation, TPOs, post‑judgment). • Lead client strategy from intake to resolution: case plans, discovery, depositions, mediation, hearings, and trial. • Draft and argue motions, briefs, and orders; prepare financial affidavits, equitable division analyses, and parenting plans. • Collaborate with your team to maintain stellar client communication. • Mentor junior team members when helpful; contribute to improving our SOPs and checklists. • Uphold deadlines, ethics, and courtroom decorum; represent the firm’s reputation with pride. What Success Looks Like Here • Matter plans executed on schedule; no preventable deadline misses. • Clients feel heard and informed; complaints are rare and resolved quickly. • Smart settlements were achieved where appropriate; confident, prepared litigation when not. • Consistent quality work product; professional feedback from judges/mediators/opposing counsel. • Meets/Exceeds clear production and client‑experience KPIs (shared in interview). Qualifications: What You Bring • Georgia Bar in good standing with 5+ years of focused family‑law litigation (more is welcome). • First‑chair experience in hearings/mediations. • Excellent writing and courtroom advocacy; strong financial acumen for support/equitable division. • Organized, proactive communicator who partners well with paralegals and clients under pressure. • Comfort with practice tech and curiosity to improve systems (templates, checklists, workflows). Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 yearly
