We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our busy and client-focused practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, financial statements, and discovery
- Maintain case files and manage deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner
- Manage and update cases using MyCase (8am platform experience required)
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy support
- Organize financial documents, exhibits, and evidence
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum [3] years of experience in family law (divorce, custody, support, etc.)
- Proficiency in MyCase (8am platform) is required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Family Law, court filings and local procedures
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
