Raleigh Divorce Law Firm is looking for a Family Law Paralegal to help provide the highest quality of legal services to our clients. Candidates should be able to work successfully in a team environment and have the ability to accept constructive feedback and mentoring from experienced attorneys. The position does involve some administrative responsibilities, including phone coverage, client intake and scheduling appointments.

Position Overview: As a Family Law Paralegal with our Firm, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal support to our clients in various family law matters. You will work closely with attorneys and other legal professionals to assist in case management, filing, drafting legal documents, and client communication.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client intake and schedule new client appointments
• Perform administrative duties, including answering phone calls
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and pretrial orders under the guidance of a lawyer
• File documents and track, monitor, and serve court filings
• Assist attorneys in case preparation and management
• Manage client communication and correspondence
• Organize and maintain case files and documentation
• Handle discovery requests
• Work with clients to complete required paperwork in family law cases
• Communicate with court staff, opposing counsels, and other parties involved in cases

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Prefer previous paralegal experience
• Must be able to perform well under stress and accept constructive feedback
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and local court rules preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in legal software and MS Office Suite
