We are actively looking to hire a full-time experienced Financial Coordinator to join our team at Seattle Dental Associates. We are a privately owned, one-doctor and two-hygienist practice with established patients and a friendly team. Our modern and updated space and equipment make for a great work environment.
We see patients Monday through Thursday from 7am-4pm with a one-hour lunch break.

Our Financial Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of the practice by accurately managing patient accounts, billing, insurance processing, and collections in a way that supports both business success and patient trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit and track insurance claims and pre-authorizations
Monitor insurance aging reports weekly and follow up on outstanding claims
Post payments accurately and reconcile deposits daily
Create and present financial arrangements to patients
Manage patient account balances and handle sensitive billing conversations
Process refunds and handle billing adjustments as needed
Collaborate with Treatment Coordinator to align patient financial options
Keep accurate documentation of financial conversations in patient records
Success Metrics (KPIs):
Days in Accounts Receivable (A/R)
Insurance Aging Over 30/60/90 Days
Percent of Collections to Production
Outstanding Patient Balances Over 60 Days
Insurance Collection Rate
Required Skills and Qualifications:
2+ years of dental billing and insurance experience
Proficiency in Open Dental billing and claims management
Working knowledge of dental coding, claim submission, and appeals
Experience creating payment plans and discussing financials with patients
Accuracy and attention to detail
Wage: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Schedule: Mondays through Thursdays, 6:30am-4:30pm
