    Forklift Operator (Multiple Equipment Types) – Orlando, FL Metro Area

    Abacus Staffing | Warehouse & Distribution

    Pay: $17.25 – $20.45/hour (based on experience)
    Schedule Options:

    • Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts + overtime on weekends
      OR
    • Compressed schedules (12-hour shifts):
      • Sunday – Tuesday
      • Sunday – Wednesday
      • Wednesday – Saturday
      • Thursday – Saturday
    • Shifts available: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

    Position Overview

    Abacus Staffing is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for warehouse and distribution facilities throughout the Orlando metro area. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment.

    Equipment Experience Required (any of the following):

    • Reach Truck
    • Cherry Picker / Order Picker
    • Sit-Down Forklift
    • Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate forklift equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products
    • Perform order picking using RF scanners in a warehouse environment
    • Accurately pick and transport materials to designated locations
    • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed
    • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
    • Inspect equipment daily and report any issues
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area

    Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience
    • Experience with at least one of the listed equipment types
    • Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, including weekends when required
    • Comfortable working in fast-paced warehouse environments
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
    • RF scanner experience preferred
