At The Goddard School of Hazlet, preschool is more than preparation for kindergarten—it’s a place where children build confidence, creativity, and connection. We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team and help guide children through this exciting stage of discovery and growth.

Who You Are

You are an experienced early childhood educator who:

Has hands-on experience working with children ages 3 to 5 in a preschool or early learning setting (minimum 2 years preferred)

Preferred: Holds or is working toward a CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Loves creating a joyful, structured, and inclusive environment where children can learn through play

Works well with others, communicates openly, and values strong relationships with families and colleagues

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning in all developmental areas

Support each child’s individual needs while encouraging group collaboration and independence

Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment

Foster open communication with parents and caregivers about each child’s development and classroom experience
