About the Role:

Sorrento Landscape Inc is looking for an Experienced Gardener to join our growing team in beautiful San Diego, CA! Responsibilities:

Perform routine garden maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming, and weeding

Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, edgers, and blowers

Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in accordance with safety guidelines

Monitor plant health and identify signs of disease, pests, or nutrient deficiencies

Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water management

Prepare and amend soil for planting beds and seasonal installations

Communicate with clients and team leads regarding project progress and site conditions

Requirements:

2+ years of professional gardening or landscaping experience

Knowledge of plants, shrubs, trees, and turf common to Southern California

Experience with irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting

Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor

Strong attention to detail and a pride in delivering quality work
