Company Overview Furry Land Mobile Pet Grooming of New Mexico is hiring experienced groomers in the Santa Fe and ABQ areas! For the past 7 years, we’ve been providing high-quality, personal pet grooming services directly at our client's homes. We offer a unique mobile spa experience for dogs and cats, ensuring a stress-free and convenient grooming process.

$1500 Sign on Bonus to be paid over 3 months.

Responsibilities

Drive our 2023/2024 Mercedes Sprinter van to appointments in the Santa Fe area.

Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling.

Ensure pets' safety and comfort using gentle handling techniques.

Assess pets' coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being, and communicate with pet owners.

Educate pet owners on grooming techniques and recommend appropriate products.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van.

Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Requirements

Proven experience as a pet groomer (1+ year required).

Professionally trained grooming education

Valid driver's license and clean driving record and background check.

Passion for working with animals and ability to handle all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.

Excellent communication skills and outstanding customer service.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality grooming.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Certification from a reputable grooming school is a plus.

Ability to lift and/or handle large breed/heavy dogs temporarily.
