    Home Stager – Phoenix Staging + Design (VA + MD) Part Time | In Person | Northern Virginia, Maryland, DC Phoenix Staging + Design is growing and seeking a creative, confident Home Stager to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves hands-on design, and can lead install days while transforming homes into polished, buyer-ready spaces. As business increases, there is a potential to grow to a full-time employee. About the Role As a Home Stager, you are the on-site design lead responsible for bringing each project to life. You will: • Create room layouts and make final design decisions • Lead install teams and keep staging days running smoothly • Style homes to photo-ready standards • Maintain quality control and brand consistency across projects • Collaborate with designers, agents, and homeowners • Assist with inventory pulling, packing, setup, and returns • Problem-solve quickly in real-time environments This position is creative, physical, and leadership-focused, requiring comfort lifting 25 lbs, climbing stairs, and working in multiple locations. What We Handle (So You Can Focus on Staging) Our backend systems and support team manage the operational side, including: • Client communication and scheduling • Inventory tracking and packing lists • Logistics support and transportation • Billing, invoicing, and marketing • Warehouse organization and restocking • Training, tools, and ongoing system updates You lead the staging. Responsibilities: • Lead the install crews on-site from start to finish • Create room layouts, select inventory, and make final design decisions • Oversee quality, styling, and photo-ready finishing touches • Problem-solve challenges on the spot (stairs, tight timelines, inventory swaps, etc) • Communicate professionally with homeowners, agents, and internal teams • Ensure projects stay on schedule • Work directly with the warehouse to pull, pack, and return inventory • Maintain consistent staging standards across all locations Qualifications: • Experience in home staging or interior design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail • Ability to lead and inspire installation crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards • Proven track record of making quick, effective design decisions in dynamic environments • Strong communication skills to liaise professionally with homeowners, agents, and team members • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining consistent quality and style • Comfortable with physical tasks, including moving furniture and climbing stairs, to ensure seamless staging • Proficiency in problem-solving on-site challenges, such as tight timelines and inventory adjustments • 3+ Years of Home Staging Experience is REQUIRED! Compensation: $17.45 - $24.67 hourly
