    Must have 3+ years of interior design experience, with a focus on kitchens and/or bathrooms, to be considered for this position. Must have proficiency in design software (Chief Architect, ProKitchen, or 2020 Design) to be considered for this position. This is not a remote position. You will work with clients in our showroom We’re looking for an experienced Interior Designer who specializes in kitchen and bathroom design and thrives in a structured, design-build environment. You’ll guide clients through a complete design and selection process, from initial concept to final construction documents, ensuring every decision is made before construction begins. Including client meetings, technical drawings, bid management, and ordering. Design Meetings • Lead clients through the full design process for kitchens, bathrooms, and occasional whole-home remodels and additions • Present design concepts, layouts, and material selections with confidence and clarity • Stick to a tight design schedule, decided in advance with the client - Typically 6-8 weeks Technical Design • Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings • Design cabinetry layouts, lighting plans, plumbing plans, and material specifications • Ensure plans are code-compliant and permit-ready. Material Selection • Guide clients through selections in our showroom • Finalize all selections and documentation before final contract signing Project Planning & Coordination • Manage and train your design assistant • Collaborate with project managers to create a project schedule, a detailed scope, and installer notes • Send bids, create labor POs, material POs, and manage ordering of all materials • Support the project manager during construction with design clarifications when needed Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of interior design experience, with a focus on kitchens and/or bathrooms • Proficiency in design software (Chief Architect, ProKitchen, or 2020 Design) • Strong communication and client-facing skills Preferred: • Experience in a design-build remodeling company • NKBA certification or similar credentials • Experience with semi-custom manufactured cabinet lines, especially frameless cabinets • Knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing • Experience working in a showroom environment Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly
