    Job Title: Landscape Construction Laborer

    Department: Landscaping / Construction

    Reports To: Crew Leader / Project Manager

    Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal or Year-Round (as applicable)

    Location: SLC County and UT County

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and dependable Landscape Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the installation of hardscape and softscape features in commercial landscape projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the construction and installation of:
      • Patios, walkways, retaining walls (using pavers, stone, concrete, etc.)
      • Irrigation systems
      • Drainage systems
      • Planting trees, shrubs, sod, and other landscape materials
    • Operate basic hand and power tools (shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, saws, compactors, etc.)
    • Load and unload materials and equipment
    • Follow site plans and layout instructions provided by supervisors
    • Prepare job sites by digging, grading, and leveling ground
    • Clean up job sites at the end of each day
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
    • Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in landscaping or construction preferred, but not required
    • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
    • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
    • Reliable transportation to job sites or meeting locations
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
    • Valid driver’s license preferred (CDL is a plus)
    • Must be able to communicate in English or SpanishSkid S

    Work Environment:

    • Outdoor work on residential and commercial job sites
    • Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
    • Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required

    Compensation:

    • Hourly wage: $19.50 – $25 per hour based on experience
    • Overtime opportunities available
    • Potential for advancement to Crew Leader
