We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Front Desk Team Member to join our growing specialty practice. The ideal candidate will have strong background in medical scheduling, patient intake, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
Manage appointment scheduling for multiple providers, including new and follow-up patients.
Coordinate new patient onboarding: registration, insurance verification, consent forms, and EMR input.
Answer multi-line phones, triage calls, and route messages efficiently.
Ensure smooth daily patient flow in collaboration with clinical staff.
Collect co-pays, verify insurance, and process payments.
Maintain accuracy in patient records and compliance with HIPAA standards.
Support office operations with general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office front desk role required.
Proficiency in scheduling and patient registration systems (experience with eClinicalWorks highly preferred).
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff.
Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization workflows a plus.
Reliable, punctual, mature and able to maintain confidentiality.
