Physician-owned ophthalmology practice seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our clinical team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who is confident in refraction and ophthalmic testing and can contribute immediately in a well-established practice.
What You’ll Do
Perform efficient and accurate patient workups
Manual and automated refractions (required)
Measure intraocular pressure (Goldmann, iCare, or Tonopen)
Visual acuity, pupils, EOMs, confrontation fields
Perform diagnostic testing (OCT, visual fields, imaging)
Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians
Provide clear patient education and support clinic flow
What We’re Looking For
Previous ophthalmic technician experience required
Proven refraction skills
Comfortable obtaining IOP independently
Professional, patient-focused communication
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
This role is not designed for entry-level candidates or on-the-job training.
