    Job Title:** Experienced Paralegal – Estate & Elder Law
    Location: Watchung, NJ
    Job Type: Full-Time
    Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

    We are currently seeking a skilled Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in estate planning, estate administration, Medicaid applications, litigation, and related matters.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft deeds, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, wills, and trust documents using firm templates

    • Prepare and send correspondence to clients, courts, adversaries, government agencies, and financial institutions

    • Assemble and file pleadings for litigation matters

    • Create estate accountings for fiduciaries

    • Assist with estate plan signing ceremonies

    • Utilize our case management system (CLIO)

    • Support general office operations: answering phones, organizing files, scanning, mail handling, and filing

    • Conduct internet and legal research as needed

    • Review documents and emails for accuracy in grammar, spelling, and formatting

    • Track and enter billable time accurately

    • Maintain both digital and physical files in accordance with established protocols

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 3–5+ years of relevant experience in estate planning and elder law required

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines

    • Proficiency in legal drafting, document assembly, and legal research

    • Experience with CLIO or other case management software

    • Excellent communication skills and professional, empathetic phone manners

    • Familiarity with tracking billable time (minimum 2 years of experience)

    • Attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff
