One Pet at a Time • Keep 100% of Tips • No Phones or Walk-Ins

You’ll work one-on-one with pets in a fully equipped mobile grooming salon while our office team handles calls, scheduling, customer support and route coordination.

A Different Kind of Grooming Day

Imagine starting your day knowing your schedule and route are already planned.

You arrive at your first client's home, greet the pet parent and bring their pet into a quiet, cage-free mobile grooming environment.

There aren't three other dogs waiting for you.

    The phone isn't ringing.

Nobody is walking in asking for a nail trim.

You're not bouncing between pets or being pulled away from the groom.

You focus on one pet at a time, complete the groom, return the pet to their family and head to your next appointment.

A typical full day is approximately 4–6 pets, depending on breed, size, coat and services.

Our goal isn't to push as many pets through your day as possible. It's to build a schedule that allows you to produce great work, earn a strong income and provide the experience each pet deserves.

At the end of your route, you're done.

    Pets First. Always.

This is more than a tagline at Bark & Mane.

We believe great grooming starts with understanding the pet in front of you. Safety, comfort and well-being come before speed.

We're looking for groomers who recognize when a pet needs patience, know when something isn't right, communicate honestly with pet parents, and take pride in doing things the right way.

You'll have the independence experienced groomers value, with a team behind you when you need support.

    What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced professional groomer who still loves the craft but may be ready for a different environment.

    You should have:

2+ years of professional grooming experience

Formal grooming training or equivalent professional experience

Experience grooming a wide variety of breeds, coat types and styles

    Strong pet-handling and safety skills

    Excellent communication and customer-service skills

    Strong time-management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage your day

Dependability and a professional approach to your work

A valid driver's license with an exceptionally clean driving record — this is non-negotiable

Cat grooming experience is a plus, but not required.

No mobile grooming experience is required. If you're an experienced salon groomer, we'll help you make the transition to mobile.

If you still love grooming but you're tired of everything surrounding it in a traditional high-volume salon, you don't have to leave the profession.

    Change the environment.

Use the skills you've worked hard to develop in a calm, one-on-one setting where you can focus on what you actually became a groomer to do:

    Take great care of pets.

If you're curious about mobile grooming but aren't sure whether it's right for you, we'd be happy to have a confidential conversation about the job, schedule, compensation and what a typical day at Bark & Mane really looks like.

Apply today and come see why one-on-one mobile grooming feels different.
