About the Role:

Itchy Pooch Inc is looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our passionate mobile pet grooming team based out of Hanford, CA! Responsibilities:

Perform full-service grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and styling for dogs and cats

Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other finishing services as needed

Assess each pet's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments

Safely handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming station and salon area

Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and pet health observations

Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment in proper working condition

Take accurate notes of grooming

Requirements:

Proven experience as a professional pet groomer

Proficiency in breed-specific cuts and grooming styles

Ability to safely handle and restrain pets of various sizes and temperaments

Strong knowledge of grooming tools, products, and techniques

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic

Genuine love and compassion for animals
