Are You an Experienced Groomer or Salon/Mobile Grooming Owner Looking to Share Your Expertise?

Are you an experienced groomer, salon owner, or mobile grooming business owner looking for a way to earn some extra income while helping develop the next generation of professional groomers?

Woofie's of Annapolis is looking for an experienced Grooming Mentor to provide hands-on coaching, guidance, and professional development to our grooming team.

This is a flexible opportunity designed for someone who has built a successful career in grooming and enjoys teaching, coaching, and sharing what they've learned with others.

    No Driving Required

You do not need to drive one of our grooming vans to serve as a mentor.

Mentoring sessions can take place at:

    Our headquarters location

Your own salon or grooming facility

    Another mutually agreed-upon location

We are flexible and want to create a mentoring arrangement that works well for both you and our grooming team.

    What You'll Do

Mentor and coach developing groomers on grooming techniques, safety, pet handling, and best practices

Provide hands-on instruction and constructive feedback

Help groomers improve their confidence, consistency, and efficiency

Share your experience with different breeds, coat types, grooming styles, and challenging situations

Help groomers develop their technical and professional skills

Provide guidance on safe and compassionate pet handling

Identify opportunities for improvement and help create practical development plans

Serve as an experienced resource and sounding board for our grooming team

    Who We're Looking For

You could be a great fit if you are:

    An experienced professional groomer

A salon owner, mobile grooming owner, grooming manager, or senior groomer

Passionate about teaching and developing other groomers

    Patient, positive, and encouraging

    Comfortable providing constructive feedback

Experienced working with a variety of breeds and coat types

Committed to safety, quality, and compassionate pet care

    Why Become a Grooming Mentor?

You've spent years building your skills. Now you can help someone else build theirs.

Whether you currently own a salon, operate a mobile grooming business, are semi-retired, or simply want to stay involved in the industry, this could be a great way to share your knowledge, support fellow groomers, and earn additional income.

We're open to creating a flexible arrangement that works for you — including mentoring at your salon, our location, or another mutually agreed-upon setting.

No van driving required. Flexible part-time opportunity. Share your expertise. Help grow the next generation. Earn extra income.

If you're an experienced grooming professional who loves helping others succeed, we'd love to talk with you!
