Plainville Plating, a leader in Aerospace metal finishing, is seeking an experienced Production Manager who can inspire teams, optimize processes, and deliver excellence every single day.

Duties Include:

As Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. You’ll:

Lead and mentor a team of production employees, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Drive daily performance through proactive communication, clear expectations, and accountability.

Monitor production schedules and quality metrics to hit efficiency targets.

Champion continuous improvement, health & safety, and compliance initiatives.

Partner with leadership to align production goals with company strategy.

Job Requirements:

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.

Experience in production or manufacturing processes (finishing operations a plus).

Education: High School diploma required.

1–3 years of production management or related leadership experience.

Bonus Points:

Experience with metal finishing, specifically plating and/or anodizing.

Bachelors' Degree

The Details

Full-time, on-site leadership role in Hartford County, CT.

Hands-on environment with exposure to shop floor activities (must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally).

Post-offer background check and drug testing (including marijuana) required.
