    The Regional Account Manager is responsible for generating new business, retaining existing clients, and fostering growth through the expansion of products and services in their designated region.

    They are hiring one candidate for each of the following regions: Northeast, Great Lakes.

    • This position is remote but requires 60% travel

    Overview:

    • Develop and execute commercial strategies to acquire new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to meet customers’ needs and explore new opportunities.
    • Own the accurate forecasting of your account base.
    • Develop and execute account growth strategies and account planning.
    • Develop and own strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of budget attainment.
    • Identify customer needs and ensure their satisfaction.
    • Drive identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
    • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for key areas of competitive advantage.
    • Provide feedback regarding pricing and competition of product line offering.
    • Manage travel and living expense budget.
    • Perform quarterly business reviews with key account decision makers and Client’s SME's.
    • Maintain regional pipeline with to achieve short term and long terms goals/objectives.
    • Timely maintain CRM to provide accurate intel.
    • Interface with the various internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and compliant sales process.
    • Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
    • Coordination with business units SMES to define solution.
    • Ensure products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.

    Requirements: 

    • Minimum 5-10 years of experience of direct consultative selling.
    • A willingness to travel 60% of the time.
    • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in industrial end user sales.
    • Knowledge of the heavy-duty and aeroderivative industrial gas turbine maintenance industry is a plus.
    • Experience handling transactional and contractual relationships.
    • Education in engineering, or technical school or other technical background preferred.
    • Experience with electrical control products preferred.
    • Experience in B2B sales.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
