The User Experience Architect is responsible for software design usability issues and will work with Business and UX Designer(s) to define and implement process workflow/task flow solutions.
- Focus: Analysis & Research
This individual will be the bridge between UX and UI to create deliverables that assist with not only consistency but drive new technology corporately.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various types of UX research (ex. Contextual, survey, interview, etc.) in-person and remotely.
- Create and maintain reports and documentation and analysis findings.
- Assist on developing usable and engaging user experiences that avoid common pitfalls while bolstering best practices alongside with input in regards to applicable trends.
Skills:
- 3+ years of experience
- Understanding of Human Factor Engineering, Psychology, Interaction, Human Interface Design and/or Usability Engineering.
- Experience with web application and technology.
- Identifying usability issues and providing value propositions and solutions.
- Extremely fast paced, agile ran environment that embraces rapid change and iterative design processes. Flexibility is a must as things change quickly.
Preferred:
- Personas, card sorting, analysis tool evaluation and recommendation
- Interviewing users and obtaining insight to user pain points and user goals
- Design experience (Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Axure).
- Experience in the insurance vertical is a plus.
