  • Responsibilities

    Prefer BS/BA degree and 3 years as an Exchange Administrator.

    • Perform network and systems administration for the Military Sealift Command Afloat Network Operations Center. Provide services including Active Directory and Exchange support and troubleshooting for thousands of users on more than 100 Navy MSC vessels and for multiple MSC NOCs.
    • Maintain a virtual 2012R2 Hyper-V environment. Engineer GAL syncing between forests by means of Microsoft MIM/FIM.
    • Write and submit Change Requests (CRQs) for changes in procedures for approval by Information Assurance (IA).
    • Create and submit email, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, SQL security policies as prompted by STIGs for both the classified and unclassified networks.
    • Develop SOPs regarding security practices and operational procedures. Create guidelines for accreditations and Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI).
    • Maintain systems with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) support to allow Cryptographic Log On (CLO) via tokens to access workstations, servers, and websites including Outlook Web Access.
    • Test and assess systems using ACAS scans, SCAP scans, and manual STIG verification. Mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities as necessary.
    • Manage and report assets in VRAM, continually uploading results from ACAS scans as prompted by remediation of vulnerabilities.
    • Assist in creation of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
    • Implement redundancy between NOCs for quick, seamless recovery of services in the event of an outage. 

    Required Certification: DOD IAT Level III
