    HVAC Technician Lead

    Logan A/C & Heat Services

    Cincinnati, OH

    With both your hourly pay and commissions, your total yearly income can range from $63,000 to $140,000.

    Responsibilities:

    • Technician Development & Mentoring: Regularly monitor and support technician progress, offering coaching on customer service and revenue generation.
    • Team Support : Weekly check-ins with each technician and collaboration with the Service Manager and Service Sales Leader in strategy meetings every Thursday.
    • Training Leadership : Participate in field training cycles each Spring and Fall, with a focus on retaining and developing apprentices and newer team members.
    • Team Culture and Retention : Promote a supportive, team-oriented environment, emphasizing trust, communication, and mutual respect.
    • Leadership Meetings : Attend monthly service leadership meetings to discuss performance and strategic initiatives.
    • Technical & Customer Support: Provide an additional line of support for customer issues and technical questions.
    • Service Technician Duties : Perform all standard LSI service technician tasks, including tune-ups, troubleshooting, service repairs, and service-related sales.
    • After-Hours Commitment : Be part of the on-call rotation for after-hours support.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Experience : 3+ years in residential HVAC service.
    • Track Record : Proven success in service dollar and sales generation.
    • Technical Aptitude : Advanced understanding of HVAC systems and principles.
    • Certifications : EPA certification required.
    • Communication Skills : Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and drive for extended periods.
    • Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions and safely handle hazardous materials.
