    Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Breakfast Restaurant General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management background, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant environment. The General Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team culture.

    Responsibilities

    Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer experience

    Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure team efficiency and professionalism

    Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hospitality

    Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize profitability

    Utilize POS systems such as Toast and 7Shifts for accurate cash handling and sales tracking

    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation

    Lead staff interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives to promote a skilled workforce

    Implement shift management strategies to ensure smooth daily operations during breakfast hours

    Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards

    Collaborate with culinary staff on menu planning, food presentation, and quality control

    Assist in budgeting processes and operational planning to support business growth

    Experience

    Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments

    Extensive background in food industry management including supervising teams, inventory control, and food safety protocols

    Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS preferred. We use 7shifts for scheduling and communication

    Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and hospitality management practices

    Demonstrated leadership skills in training & development, team management, and customer service excellence

    Prior experience in fine dining or hotel settings is a plus but not required

    Background in catering or banquet services is advantageous

    Experience with budget management, staffing interviews, shift supervision, and food handling regulations
