Job Summary

A-Bear Roofing is a local, family-owned company looking for a hardworking, reliable Roofer to join our team in Ventura! You’ll help install, repair, and maintain roofs while keeping job sites safe and organized.

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others. Roofing experience is preferred. You must have your own vehicle for reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

Help install, repair, and replace roofing materials

Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation

Install flashing and seal roof joints to help prevent leaks

Safely use ladders, roofing equipment, hand tools, and power tools

Load, unload, and organize materials

Keep job sites clean and follow all safety procedures

Work closely with the crew to complete quality work on schedule

Treat customers, coworkers, and customer property with respect

Qualifications

Previous roofing experience preferred

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Own vehicle for transportation to and from work

Ability to follow directions and work well with a team

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools preferred

Ability to work safely at heights and climb ladders

Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 40+ pounds and perform physical work, with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while following safety guidelines
