Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Screen Printer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in screen printing, with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work. This role involves operating screen printing equipment, preparing screens, and ensuring the quality of printed products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate screen printing presses to produce high-quality prints on various substrates.
- Mix and match inks to achieve the desired colors and effects.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing equipment and processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning screens and equipment.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of orders.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in screen printing.
- Proficiency in operating manual and automatic screen printing presses.
- Strong understanding of screen preparation, ink mixing, and color matching.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with printing equipment and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specialty inks and printing techniques (e.g., metallic, puff, discharge).
- Familiarity with M&R automatic machines.
