Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Snow Plow Driver for the winter season. This is a seasonal, on-call role activated during snow events. Drivers are responsible for safely operating plow trucks and related equipment to clear and treat properties during winter weather conditions.

Work availability is dependent on snowfall and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Operate snow plow trucks, salt spreaders, and related equipment

Clear parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and roadways

Apply salt and de-icing materials as directed

Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections

Complete basic daily job documentation

Communicate route progress and site conditions with dispatch

Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of professional snow plowing experience preferred

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Reliable transportation to job sites

Ability to work independently and make safe decisions in changing weather

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical outdoor work

Availability for on-call shifts during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation & Schedule

Up to $35 per hour, depending on experience and equipment capability

Weekly pay

Overtime paid in accordance with state and federal law when applicable

Seasonal, on-call schedule based on weather conditions

Potential opportunity for landscaping work during non-winter months based on performance and business needs

Work Environment

Outdoor work in cold, snowy, and icy conditions

Early morning, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts during snow events
