Officials Unlimited is hiring experienced fastpitch softball umpires for USSSA's 7 Inning Southern Star Showcase in the Altamonte Springs / Longwood, FL area (June 5–7, 2026). This is a high-level USA Elite Select showcase featuring 16U–18U travel teams competing in front of college recruiters, so we need umpires who already know the fastpitch game cold and can manage a competitive crew environment with confidence.

What You'll Do

• Officiate fastpitch softball games (plate and bases) for 16U–18U divisions
• Apply USSSA fastpitch rules accurately and consistently
• Manage game pace, coaches, and players professionally under pressure
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, ready for assigned game slots across both venues as scheduled

What We're Looking For

• Experienced softball umpires only — prior fastpitch officiating is required
• Working knowledge of USSSA fastpitch rules (or comparable association experience and willingness to certify)
• Solid plate and base mechanics
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to multiple games over the event weekend
• Own gear and uniform
• Local to Central Florida or able to travel to the Altamonte Springs / Longwood area at your own arrangement

Compensation & Details

• $40 per hour
• Multi-game days available across the tournament
• Independent contractor engagement through Officials Unlimited
