    Job description:

    Swimming Pool Repair Technician (5+ yr. exp. req.)

    EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE.

    MUST BE ABLE TO LEARN AND TRAVEL WITH A TRAINER DURING THE TRAINING PROCESS.

    Flexible Work Schedule: The typical work week is 4 days. We are off Saturday and Sunday, as well. Working on your extra day off or Saturday may be occasionally required.

    Compensation is based on experience.

    Requirements:

    Experience with all NEW and OLD types/brands (Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, etc.) of swimming pool equipment repair and replacement, including automation systems and heaters. If you do not have experience with new and old pool equipment, DO NOT APPLY

    Comprehensive understanding of pool chemistry as a pool technician

    Ability to organize work and communicate with the office and customers is a must

    Able to work independently

    Clean driving record (employee will be given a company truck - we pay for gas)

    Passing a background check

    Duties (Experience with ALL is REQUIRED):

    Full in-ground pool/spa system diagnostics

    Pool pump/motor installation

    Pool plumbing repairs, including total replumbs and moving equipment (valve installation, etc.)

    Heater and heat pump installation and diagnostics

    Diagnosis and repair of salt chlorination systems

    Drain and cleans/acid washes/post-renovation start-ups

    Automation system installation and troubleshooting (including timers)

    Installation/diagnostics of pool/spa lights (incandescent, LED, nicheless)

    Basic leak detection (dye testing)
