Accountant/Tax Preparer

Established Tax Firm in Scottsdale, AZ

_ Here is what we are looking for:_

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of tax returns including Individuals, S Corps (1120-S), C Corps (1120), Partnerships (1065), and Fiduciary
2. Accounting and bookkeeping support for a diverse base of clients, including data entry, reconciliations, account clean up, allocations and adjustments, etc.
3. Tax research and analysis on varied topics under partner/manager direction.
4. Tax planning, projections, and strategy for business and individual clients.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree/Masters in Accounting/Tax a plus!
2. Masters in Tax a plus!
3. CPA/EA
4. 4 recent years of tax season experience
5. Experience with Quickbooks Desktop and Online
6. Experience with Lacerte tax software
7. Independent, self-motivated, ability to keep on task without direct oversight
8. Excellent time management skills
9. Open to instruction and coaching
10. Professionalism; Good written and oral communication skills
11. Dependable team player
12. Attention to detail

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
