Phoenix Financial Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Experienced Tax Resolution Associate / Enrolled Agent to join our growing team in Westminster, CO. Responsibilities:

Represent clients before the IRS and state tax agencies in tax resolution matters

Analyze client tax situations and develop strategic resolution plans including Offers in Compromise, installment agreements, and penalty abatements

Communicate directly with IRS and state revenue officers on behalf of clients

Manage a caseload of active tax resolution clients from intake through resolution

Stay current on IRS tax codes, regulations, and collection procedures

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely case progression

Requirements:

Active IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required

2+ years of hands-on tax resolution experience

Strong knowledge of IRS collection processes, tax codes, and compliance procedures

Experience with Offers in Compromise, Currently Not Collectible status, and installment agreements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and IRS correspondence

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
