Responsibilities: • Must have a telecommunications background and verified climbing experience. • Demonstrate strong work ethic, punctuality, and physical stamina. • Perform tasks at heights over 300 feet while carrying 70+ lbs of gear. • Prioritize safety, follow OSHA standards, and maintain a safety-first mindset. • Willing to travel extensively throughout the Midwest. • Hold valid safety certifications (renewals covered by the company). • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless telecom equipment on towers. • Work safely at significant heights and in varying weather conditions. • Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment with confidence. • Diagnose and resolve telecom system issues quickly and effectively. • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and site regulations. • Provide mentorship and training to junior tower technicians. • Travel is required, though most weekends will be spent at home. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tower climbing or telecom construction required. • Must be proficient in rigging, tower erection, and antenna installation. • Solid understanding of RF, fiber optics, and telecom infrastructure is required. • Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. • Strong problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail are essential. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. • Must be comfortable working in a team-driven, high-performance environment. • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10/30 certifications are preferred but not mandatory. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and climbing gear is a plus. • Ability to work independently while staying in sync with the team is important. • Familiarity with industry regulations and a strong commitment to job-site safety are critical. • Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, even in tough conditions.
