Summary To provide high quality care of all patients in an Urgent Care setting. To assist in directing staff in the support and care of our patients. Working directly with the Medical Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide high quality patient care

Order POC Testing

Telemedicine

Work closely with back-office staff and manage care with inhouse lab and X-Ray

Manage all patient care while on shift

Supervise/work together with front office and back-office staff

Have Experity or other EMR proficiency

Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion

Process biological specimens and or provide clinical IV and Immunizations as needed

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Conduct DOT and other Physicals

Provide Occ Med/Work Comp patient care

Education and Experience

Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine

(w/ER or UC experience) as a PA or FNP

Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family

Professional appearance and attitude

Active and current medical licensure in state of practice

Active and current DEA number and state controlled substance certificate, as needed

Ability to multi-task and work independently
