    If you are a talented, hardworking Welder/Fabricator with excellent attendance and a desire to build amazing products, then Storch Products Company may be seeking you to join our team as an experienced MIG and or TIG Welder/Fabricator.

    This position is responsible for welding and assembling various types of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, manganese, and aluminum. Successful candidates will be able to work independently from assembly drawings, detail drawings, and sketches, and operate a variety of shop equipment with minimal supervision.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG welding techniques as required.

    Weld metal components of products such as steel bar, plates, and aluminum fabrications.

    Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

    Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting.

    Position, clamp, and assemble workpieces for welding using jigs or fixtures.

    Operate drill presses, power saws, grinders, torches, pipe threaders, press brake, and rollers.

    Inspect finished welds for quality, bead size, and structural integrity.

    Maintain and safely operate welding equipment and tools.

    Follow safety procedures, use proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean work area.

    Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.

    Key Qualifications:

    You do not use drugs including marijuana. Storch is a drug free environment – our employees must not use illegal drugs or use marijuana (even recreationally). Preemployment and random drug screens are requirements of employment.

    High school diploma or GED required, vocational training in welding preferred.

    2–3 years MIG and or TIG welding experience with steel and stainless steel (aluminum is a plus)

    2–3 years of blueprint reading, table layout, and fitting experience.

    Ability to complete work independently, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

    Proficient in operating an overhead crane, Hi-Lo (forklift), and vertical band saw.

    Strong ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.

    Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.

    Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and quality workmanship.

    Physical stamina with the ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift 60 pounds.
