Experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) – PRN (W-2)

Location: Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY Employment Type: PRN (W-2), In-Person Compensation: $65–$68 per hour

Position Summary

Noir Well Health is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our community-centered outpatient practice in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based women’s healthcare in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient-focused, and dedicated to improving health outcomes for women across the lifespan.

Current practice needs include coverage on one dedicated weekday and/or every other Saturday. Clinical schedules will be based on patient demand and practice needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Current New York State Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license

Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Minimum of 3,600 hours of prior qualifying NP practice experience required

Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance required. Providers will also be added to the practice’s professional liability policy, as applicable.

Current DEA registration preferred, but not required

Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive women’s health assessments and annual wellness examinations

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions

Provide preventive care, cervical cancer screenings, STI screening and treatment, contraception counseling, menopause management, and patient education

Order, interpret, and manage appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing

Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care

Maintain timely, accurate, and complete electronic medical records

Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, coordinated patient care

Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies and standards of practice
