About the Role:

South Shore Gymnastics Academy is seeking an experienced Xcel and Developmental Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team in Rockland, MA for a summer 2026 start. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate coaches to inspire young athletes and foster their love for gymnastics in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement training programs for Xcel and Developmental Program gymnasts.

Coach athletes in skill progression and competition preparation.

Conduct regular assessments to monitor athlete progress and provide feedback.

Ensure a safe and positive training environment for all gymnasts.

Collaborate with fellow coaches to enhance team performance and athlete development.

Organize and participate in gymnastics events and competitions.

Communicate effectively with athletes and their families regarding goals and progress.

Stay updated on gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety standards.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years coaching experience in gymnastics, specifically Xcel and Developmental levels.

USAG Safety Certification and background check required.

Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques and training methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Passion for gymnastics and commitment to athlete development.
