    The Role

    We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Environmental Project/Report Technical Reviewer to support our Environmental Services team. The ideal candidate will provide senior-level technical review of environmental documents with a focus on:

    • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
    • Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans
    • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
    • Audits
    • Phase II Environmental Site Investigations

    This position is ideal for a seasoned professional, especially in the later stage of their career or semi-retired. You’ll review reports, share your knowledge generously, and act as a trusted voice internally.

    This is a part-time, hybrid position offering a high degree of flexibility and a chance to work with a collaborative and mission-driven team.

    What You’ll Do

    • Review environmental engineering reports for technical accuracy and regulatory compliance
    • Craft clear document comments for staff to incorporate
    • Serve as a liaison between staff, Director of Project Execution, and President on technical matters
    • Complete reviews within 24-48 hours
    • Mentor junior and mid-level staff through thoughtful review and guidance
    • Help identify training and continuous improvement opportunities

    What We’re Looking For

    • Expertise in one or more of the following: Phase I/II ESAs, SPCC, SWPP, Auditing, Remediation
    • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking
    • 20+ years of environmental consulting experience
    • PE (Professional Engineer) or PG (Professional Geologist) license in Georgia preferred
