  • Responsibilities

    24 month contract, hybrid (up to 50%) in Albany, NY
    Responsibilities:

    Operating under the direction of ITS staff.

    • Development and support of various applications on a low-code platform.
    • Leverage the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) for all activities.
    • System analysis and design
    • Analysis of existing processes and documentation of business rules
    • Creation of functional specifications
    • Analyze requirements, create design documentation, specifications, and test plan documentation
    • Assist in the coordination of application migrations.
    • Assist with system integration, load, and performance test planning and validation efforts

     

    Qualifications:

    84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 84 months of experience in frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar).
    • 84 months of experience integrating applications with other systems using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
    • 84 months of experience in .NET development, including proficiency in C# and the .NET framework
    • 84 months of experience using various SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Iterative) and experience applying them in software development projects.
    • 84 months of experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS), including advanced SQL skills.
    • 84 months of experience in systems analysis, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and system design.
    • 84 months of experience with UI/UX design and development, with a focus on principles and best practices, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
