    JOB DESCRIPTION

    We're looking for website designers who can act as both an intermediate between the client and developer during the site build. Main tasks include doing the initial website design consultation with potential clients which includes closing deals, sending invoices to sales orders, and handling all customer service inquiries. The ideal candidate must also manage the website development which includes creating, building, adjusting, and maintaining it. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C++, and other web services and program applications are essential to succeeding in this role. This role will be able to use the hands-on training provided to become an experienced web developer and sales associate on our brand-building platforms.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Sell and promote our web design service
    • Identify and contact potential clients for business opportunities
    • Maintain profitable and productive relationships with customers
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about product information and promotions
    • Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally
    • Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Contact regularly with clients and management to understand and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications
    • Work efficiently to complete small edits requested by customers, develop plans for completing larger projects, collaborate with colleagues, and suggest new solutions to improve existing websites
    • Manage the entire sales process involved with selling web design services to new clients (prospecting, territory management, meeting scheduling, website mockups, objection handling, contract negotiation)
    • Meet the sales quota and close at least 4 client deals each month

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • MUST BE LOCATED IN THE SAN DIEGO AREA
    • Associate / Bachelor Degree in related field
    • Pass Background Check
    • 1-2 years of experience in Sales (including retail)
    • 1-2 years of experience in Web Designing
    • Proven work experience in related field or similar role
    • Proven experience as on resume for this position
    • Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, and web user interface design (UI)
    • Proficiency with content management systems, including WordPress and Honeybooks CMS platform
    • Experience implementing and using modern web development workflows and operations using a variety of tools including GitHub
    • Fast computer typing skills (Google Suite, in particular)
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Strong communications skills
