    We are looking for loving, dynamic, energetic, professional teachers to add to our faculty.

    Exploring Minds Academy is a premiere preschool for children from six weeks to six years who are encouraged to develop at their own pace in a nurturing environment with a rich curriculum lovingly taught by our highly skilled, professional teachers. We are currently looking for full-time and part-time Preschool Teacher Assistant's and Floater's to work between (9:00 am and 6:00 pm or 11:30 am - 5:30 pm ) Core Values PRIDE

    Qualifications:

    Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

    Strong written and communication skills

    Familiar with High Scope curriculum

    6 Months Experience (Minimum)

    Have CDA or willing to obtain

    General Duties, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

    Cultural competence and demonstrated evidence, understanding, and commitment to the concepts of diversity, multiculturalism, and their application in the workplace.

    Perform child assessments using COR Advantage.

    Informs and enforces health and safety rules with parents, children, practicum students, and support staff.

    Communicates classroom issues to supervisor.

    Participate in Exploring Minds Academy's parent and family activities.

    Attends required staff meetings, training, and special events.

    Participates in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, in-service meetings, conferences, online training, and college classes.

    Ability to maintain effective working relationships with parents, children, staff, students, and the community.

    Demonstrate a willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.

    Ability to effectively resolve issues, be accessible to others and contribute to positive morale and motivation.

    Knowledge of the following as applied to Exploring Minds Academy's classroom practice: childcare licensing regulations, Department of Health regulations, United States Department of Agriculture - Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements, National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation standards, and criteria.

    Knowledge and application of developmentally appropriate best practices in early childhood education.

    Strong communication skills both orally and written.

    Must be able to work independently and as a team player.

    COVID-19 considerations: All staff and customers are required to wear a mask. Drop off and pick up are done at the door to limit cross-contamination. Temperature is taken each morning by the children and the staff. COVID documents are signed each morning.
